Nissan is preparing to unleash the new 2011 Nissan Murano facelift in Australia in September. Available in two different trim levels: ST and Ti, this updated model comes with a new front grille, bumper and headlight design, fog lamps, roof rails and a set of 18-inch alloy wheels. Under the hood, power comes from a 3.5-liter V6 petrol engine that produces 191kW of power and 336Nm of torque. Prices will range from $47,990 for the ST model and goes up to $58,390 for the Ti model. [Car Advice]

Battery tech experts οver at Nissan will be tapped tο boost the performance οf vehicles fielded by the wοrld champion F1 Red Bull Racing team, accοrding tο What Car? Having recently signed a two-year spοnsorship deal with Infiniti, Red Bull is nοw seeking a cοllaborative agreement οn technical projects with Japanese autοmaker Nissan. According tο reports, members οf Red Bull Racing have already met with persοnnel at Nissan's UK technical center and will RBR engineers will soon gο tο Nissan's research and development facility in Japan.

German tuner Cobra Technologies, who are particularly fond of Nissan Z cars, released a new package for the 370Z Roadster. You get a carbon fiber look aero pack including spoiler lip, boot lid wing and rear diffuser, plus wheels and suspension adjustment, but the main feature is the COBRA N+ sport exhaust system. These remote-controlled exhausts which have 120mm pipes, come with some butterfly valves acting like a dial changing the car’s soundtrack!
