If there's one company that knows a thing or two about tuning GM's products, it's Lingenfelter. The Indiana-based tuning firm has just announced its latest package for the Cadillac CTS-V series, which covers the sedan, station wagon and coupe models. In stock form, the CTS-V's 6.2-liter supercharged V8 churns out 556HP and 551 lb.-ft of torque.
Lingenfelter's engine tune includes a variety of mods such as ported LSA cylinder heads and the addition of LPE's GT9 ZR1 supercharger camshaft, which help push the V8's output to more than 700-horses at the crankshaft. The long-time GM tuner also tried out a CTS-V Coupe with a manual transmission on the dyno, with the test yielding 623HP and 617 lf-ft at the rear wheels. 2010 The GeigerCars Cadillac CTS-V Brute ForceGeigerCars.de, a German tuner specialized in North American cars, has launched an upgrade program for the Cadillac CTS-V. Despite its German location, Geiger Cars shows a great passion for tuning American cars. Instead of getting even more power and torque out of neighbouring brands like the Audi RS 6, the BMW M5, or the Mercedes-Benz E 63, Geiger chose to cross the Atlantic and create a monster out of a beast.

Found for sale at the Aero Toy Store Collection is this extremely rare Cadillac Northstar LMP racer from 2000. The chassis number "0LMP00005" Cadillac Le Mans race car is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter Northstar V8 said to produce some 570-horsepower. The Le Mans prototypes were built by GM for use in the American Le Mans Series as well as for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The asking price for this particular Northstar LMP is $175,000. The new XTS Sedan Concept looks promising and all but the real star at Cadillac's 2010 NAIAS booth is the 2011 CTS-V Coupe. Basically, it's a slightly more compact, two-door version of the CTS-V sedan sharing the same 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine with 556HP and a whopping 551 lb.-ft. of torque (747 Nm).
